Friday, October 19, 2001 - 02:40 pm We live in Kooskia Idaho. It is in the north central part of Idaho, where the pan handle starts. As stated by joel Skousen in the past it is a very good place to pelocate for many resons. 1. not near any strategic military, energy, population areas. 2. very moderate climate with long growing season and abundant rain fall. 3. abundant wildlife, wild fruit, and herbs. 4. great people who know and understand the times and the seasons. We have 40-110 acres of chioce land, and are looking for some good people to buy or jion our community, so we can help each other weather the coming events. we have pictures of the area and the land available upon request. Price of the land is $3000 per acre. For more information or if you have questions caontact us at: Lynn mortimer lmort@cybrquest.com 208-926-7240

Thursday, January 23, 2003 - 09:49 pm We also live just north of Kookia Idaho and East of Kamiah about 7 miles toward the wilderness area. Our family felt very impressed to move here but we were a little worried about coming because we didn't know anyone at all in Idaho It is a very economically depressed place, but also has many retired people who love to fish and hunt and hike. We have made some great friends, who we trust and have been there for us when we needed help. Alot of bartering goes on around here. We came with 6 children almost 7 years ago and made a totally underground shelter 20 x 40 x 16 feet tall. We feel very safe here and feel like as everything gets worse we will be o.k. because we are already living like most people don't want to. We are planning another shelter and would like to sell ours. We also have a log cabin/home and a well and a few outbuildings with 6+ acres included with the underground shelter We would encourage like minded people to come and take a look. We plan on staying a long time and just keep working on our prepardness.
