Monday, October 09, 2000 - 06:40 pm My family started off in LA, in the 1930s and when it got to havoc we went to Sacramento and lived in Eldorado county, and it got to havoc, then we moved to Redding in Shasta county. Well it got to havoc there too, So now we are in the cow and gold country of Siskiyou County. A large county with few people. Hear we can live, work hunt and fish once again, the claimant is not to bad and with only a few stop lights in the hole county life is good. I feel that this area is a good survival area and it wouldn't take much to disable the 4 passes to get into our county or shasta/scott valley area, of course it's not likely to happen but you never know. We can be totally self sufficient if had to be, just eat all the mounting lions and spotted owls, Grrr.... Hear is a link...http://www.jeffersonstate.com/jeffersonhome.html to fill you in a little bit, FWIW. Best to ya.
